SHORT FORM CONENT EDITOR
Looking for someone to edit my long format videos into various types of short format content for YouTube shorts and TikTok.
Ideally you should have knowledge of how these algorithms work and the importance of having a clickable thumbnail/title, and mastering the art of positioning a video in such a way to attract and retain traffic. I want someone that can add their own style to the videos and make them more appealing to the short form audience.
This not a full time job, would make the perfect side gig for a student or someone who wants some extra cash. That being said the pay is decent if you know what you are doing - considering the amount of work.
Rather than conduct interviews I’ll be doing this in more of an audition style.
I have attached an ASMR version of my LED Lava Desk video as well as the separated narration track. To apply, edit this video into three separate shorts, each with a different theme/focus. One could be a summary of the build, one could focus on the F-up with the LED strips. IDK. I don’t know what’s interesting in short form content so give it your own flare and we’ll see if I like it. I want to rely on your talent for editing and give you some notes here and there on the direction I’d like the content to go. It will be a pretty chill position if I can trust your work. 🙂

Each video will be made using the clips of an existing long-form video and reedited to target an audience through short-form content. New videos will be in portrait mode (1080x1920) and .mp4 format and posted on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, etc. These videos are not necessarily to promote the full-length video itself but rather attract interest from a new audience and build a short-form following.

Selected candidate will be on for a 3 month trial period to access progress and we'll go from there.
